A PR Account Executive is required for a consultancy based near Marlborough. The successful candidate should be ambitious, motivated, meticulously organised and a graduate with a personal interest in information technology seeking a career in media relations.

-- Duties and Responsibilities --
- Commissioning market research
- Writing contact and progress reports for clients
- Researching and writing press releases and features
- Organising press conferences, events and promotions
- Preparing media distribution lists for press releases
- Promoting news stories over the phone to appropriate media
- Organising and attending press launches
- Managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation
- Building positive working relationships and liaising with colleagues, clients and the media

Skills / Attributes Required
- Degree educated in Media Relations or related field (CIM preferred)
- Language skills desirable
- Good communicator, verbally and in writing
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Full driving license
The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance of Marlborough.
