Marketing & PR Manager – £25k – Barnstaple – Maternity Contract

An experience Marketing and PR Manager is required for a 6 month maternity cover contract for a company within the leisure industry based near Barnstaple, Devon. The successful candidate will develop, implement and review the marketing plan for the site and manage the budget effectively.

--- Responsibilities: --

- Plan, develop and implement the Marketing and PR activities
- Plan and manage budget
- Brief and manage creative marketing agency
- To give radio and television interviews as and when required.
- To generate and send press releases
-  Plan, manage and attend B2C and B2B conferences
- Plan and manage online and search marketing campaigns to drive web traffic to the site
- Manage marketing campaigns once implemented to ensure use of marketing channels with best ROI
- Budget, plan and carry out market research

--- Experience required: ---
- A degree or similar in Marketing or equivalent
- Knowledge of marketing principles and concepts
- Proven marketing & PR experience in the leisure industry
- Experience working with creative and media services agencies
- Knowledge of working in cross functional teams
- Budget management
- Online marketing skills
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Adobe InDesign desirable

This is a temporary contract for 6 months and the successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible to ensure a smooth handover.
