Marketing Manager – Legal – circa £40k pro rata – Birmingham – Part time
A Marketing Manager is required for a Solicitors with a head office near Birmingham. The successful candidate will be required for an initial 6 month period on a part time basis. This role has the potential to become permanent and full time for the right candidate. Marketing and sales form part of the hub which will service a national network of offices. Therefore you do not need to be located close to the existing Midland offices and can operate remotely from an office or home.
Responsibilities:
The company have short term and long terms plans for the marketing department including:
- Direct marketing to existing clients, potential clients and professional contacts
- Promoting services by email or letters
- Implementing a system to handle enquiries and measure the effectiveness of our marketing activities
- Development of website to provide online professional services and to achieve the best possible SEO
- Extend direct marketing to other services and markets as the office network expands
- Building the brand by way of advertising and PR
Experience:
- Track record in direct and online sales/marketing in the service and retail sectors
- Experience working with fee earners in identifying target companies and sectors
- Proven ability to select out-sourced services when required and coordinate their activities
- Introduce and supervise procedural and financial systems required as a result of the marketing activities
- Manage the marketing team as it grows
The role of Marketing Manager will be part-time at the outset. Targets will be agreed on the income to be generated by the short term activities. Once these have been achieved, we will move on to the medium term activities and the role will become full time. As the marketing function grows, you will be responsible for recruiting further members of the team.
Salary – circa £45k pro rata
