Marketing Communications Executive - York / Yorkshire - £30k

Type:  Permanent
Salary:  to £30,000 + Benefits

A Marketing Communications Executive with previous experience in executing promotional campaigns across multiple media and platforms is required to work within a fast moving entrepreneurial environment based in York. A salary of up to £30,000 is offered.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing, delivering efficient and effective PR, event management and communications through digital media (multiple platforms). In addition, the successful candidate will drive the profitable recruitment and retention of clients against defined KPI’s and ROI.

Duties - 
- Execute promotional campaigns across multiple media and platforms 
- Support the development, implementation and evaluation of campaigns aimed at achieving greater product use, penetration or enhancement of existing customers 
- Generate and execute agreed PR plans to agreed outcomes 
- Generate and execute agreed event management plans to agreed outcomes 
- Produce with support of other team members and stakeholders where appropriate, specialist brochures for potential customers; exhibition stands and other marketing /sales tools such as video and multimedia 
- Create and manage content for all digital media (acting as webmaster) in a timely fashion to the required standard to support all customer-facing marketing plans. 
- Develop key external/ internal relationships with marketing agencies/ vendors and across the group.
- Optimise budget spend and impact analysis, including tracking and reporting via the key marketing planning tools and processes 
- Ensuring continuous improvement of Marketing Communications

-- Requirements --
- A proven track record in marketing communications (both internal and external) 
- Proven professional marketing qualification or equivalent experience gained on the job, across specified media and marketing disciplines with proven commercial track record
- Proven expertise in understanding of web technologies and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite demonstrative of managing a webmaster role 
- Strong project management experience essential 
- Able to write and create high impact internal and external communications (e.g. website content, PowerPoint presentations, marketing collateral, reports etc) 
- Experience of working with marketing agencies, developing briefs, and managing the creative process whilst keeping to time and budget requirements
