Marketing Assistant – Tunbridge Wells to £20k
Marketing Assistant is required by an expanding company based near Tunbridge Wells. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £20,000 + benefits
--- Duties ---
- Helping to produce the annual marketing plan for your category of responsibility
- Execute your area of the annual marketing plan incorporating NPD, Promotional activity, MARCOMS, PR, POP, Advertising, Packaging
- Project manage delivery of the NPD roadmap, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Produce promotional activity plans and work with the sales teams to achieve placement towards pre-agreed annual sales targets
- Actively seek new opportunities from a product or communications perspective to grow your category
- Monitor market movements and maintain monthly reports and become the leading authority on changes within your category of responsibility
- Produce POS and merchandising materials in line with activity and budget, liaising with third party suppliers for the Marketing team – ultimate goal is to establish a POS Bible.
- Manage marketing spend in line with pre-agreed budget and provide assistance in usage of sales promotional spend that adds value to the business
- Produce required literature e.g. catalogues, website and sales sheets
- General website administration for all categories within the Marketing team
- General catalogue administration for all categories within the Marketing team
- Assist with Trade Show and Exhibition delivery
- Maintain category bible, NPD updates and price lists
Key Skills
-Marketing / Business degree (or marketing experience)
- Excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organised with good time management
- Creative intellect and ambition to achieve growth
- Good analytical skills
- Competent negotiator (experience of Asian negotiation an advantage)
- IT Microsoft Office literate
