Marketing Assistant – to £21k – Southampton
Marketing Assistant with knowledge of the full marketing mix is required for a client based in Southampton, Hampshire. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £21,000.
A key role in the marketing team taking responsibility for implementing and owning online campaigns targeting existing customer and new business prospects. To assist the Marketing team in the day to day running of a web centric marketing department. The work is often challenging, varied and exciting.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating and administering website content for the company websites
- Implementing website advertising campaigns
- Responsible for obtaining approval of marketing material
- Assisting in sourcing advertising opportunities across all ranges of media
- Briefing and helping the designer/s devise creative concepts and source relevant images for marketing communications.
- Developing the marketing communications and literature including writing and proof reading copy
- Attending exhibitions, including generating leads and running the exhibition stands on site
 Coordinating and analysing market research
- Respond to all office enquiries, internal and external, including PR when applicable

Skills / Attributes Required
- Knowledge of the full marketing mix
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Photoshop (preferred)
- Good communicator
- Outgoing and confident personality
- Excellent organiser
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Desire to progress within marketing
