Key Account Manager – Food Industry – Essex - £45k + Bonus
A Key Account Manager is required to join a successful and long standing company in the food industry based in Essex . The successful Key Account Manager must be reliable, conscientious, energetic and motivated. Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills are essential as are a good sense of humour and creative flair.

--- Duties and Responsibilities ---
- To provide superior customer service to Key Customers by efficiently managing their accounts and proactively seeking ways to add value
- To be the key link in communication between the Key Customers and the rest of the company’s business
- To manage and develop new and existing client / customer relationships and to grow revenue within defined markets through pro-active selling of the Company Products.
- To cement the company as supplier of choice with all Key Customers

You will be responsible for your own workload and expected to handle all of your own customer programmes, customer development, budgeting and business planning, reporting, customer/supplier visits, benchmarking and personal development.

--- Skills / Attributes Required ---
- Previous experience in key account management essential ideally within the FMCG industry
- Extensive negotiation experience essential
- Sound understanding of issues associated with serving key customers
- High level of numeracy and literacy skills
- Proven experience in preparing written reports and preparing and delivering presentations
